MISERY SIGNALS Is Now Streaming Their Farewell Tour Documentary “Love Is Forever, Blood Is Forever” For Free

Misery Signals mutually disbanded back in 2024 after 22 years active and five albums recorded, a metalcore band that helped pave the way for other bands to come. Working on numerous side projects individually with artists like Fall Out Boy, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, Comeback Kid, and more, their influence within the scene bled into the relationship Misery Signals had with their fans.

And as one last treat for those who stuck with them for all those years, Misery Signals is now streaming their farewell tour documentary, captured at the band’s Union Hall show in Edmonton, Alabama on October 19th, 2024. Morgan Tedd was responsible for the direction of the documentary, and will be joining Misery Signals‘ (technically) ex-bassist Kyle Johnson for a Q&A and screening of the short film at The Williams Center in Rutherford, New Jersey.

But, for fans who can’t make it out to New Jersey, the feature is available on YouTube for viewing. Titled Love Is Forever, Blood Is Forever, the 25-minute documentary captures the last three performances that Misery Signal ever did, alongside the fans who made it all possible in the process. Director Morgan Tedd explains that:

“I’ve loved Misery Signals for as long as I can remember. Of Malice and the Magnum Heart was such a formative album for me and countless other musicians. To be asked to create two music videos for the band, as well as direct their Live in Isolation performance during the Covid years, was an honour. Those projects were made across oceans, but for this documentary, I wanted closeness.

I wanted to capture the bond between the band, their fans, and the music itself; to celebrate the joy and intensity of their live performances through a reflective lens, as they toured for the final time before laying Misery Signals to rest. This film is my love letter to the band, and a shared celebration from one fan, to every fan.”
